Touch on Metal Solution

UltraSense’s Touch on Metal solution uses ultrasound to sense finger touches on a conductive surface (e.g. metals, carbon fiber, etc) A module is designed to provide a tailored solution for icon size typically greater than 8mm in diameter. The module includes side-emitting LEDs, light guides, an FPC substrate, with ultrasonic sensors. It can be attached to the panel directly as a complete module using a pressure sensitive adhesive tape. See implementation diagram below.
